GUY FAWKES' NIGHT

Guy Fawkes (1570-1606), was an English conspirator that tried to attack the English Parliament putting explosives to kill people. He was arrested and executed.

Los británicos recuerdan esa fecha cada 5 de November con fuegos artificiales y hogueras en las que queman muñecos de trapo que representan a Guy Fawkes. Written by Pablo Rodríguez (5th. grade).

HALLOWEEN

October, 31st. Children dress up as monsters, ghosts, whitches... They go out knocking on the doors. They say "Trick or Treat".

 

In our school we prepare typical pumpkins, and we celebrate the lesson as witches, evils, one skeleton... It was terrifying.
